Sited between Wembley Stadium and Wembley High Road, this project involved the redevelopment of the former headquarters of Brent Council on a 1.9-acre plot. This was a high-profile disposal by the local authority. Our understanding of municipal objectives and political nuances enabled us to secure preferred bidder status and deliver an outstanding development within the Wembley regeneration area. Following the demolition of the existing 12-storey civic building, we constructed 248 new-build residential units across five interlinked blocks. The mixed-use scheme also integrated 6,114 sq.ft of commercial retail space, currently occupied by Sainsbury’s and Costa Coffee. The units are arranged around a newly created public piazza and landscaped grounds, enhancing local public realm infrastructure.
