This project commenced with the strategic acquisition of a municipal facility owned by the London Borough of Hammersmith & Fulham, although it is in Wandsworth. Following the demolition of the redundant low-rise buildings, planning permission was successfully secured for a modern residential scheme comprising 61 apartments across two adjoining blocks, including a 35% allocation for social housing. The blocks were constructed using an efficient modular lightweight steel framing system, accelerating the build programme. The development incorporates a secure underground basement car park with capacity for 26 vehicles. Above the parking infrastructure, a podium deck was engineered to support landscaped communal gardens and private amenity spaces for residents, optimising urban land use.
